UNABSEC is committed to the continuous professional development of Uganda's construction workforce. Through partnerships with training institutions and industry experts, we offer a range of training programs designed to upskill contractors and their teams.
Training areas include:
- Construction project management
- Contract management and claims
- Occupational health and safety
- Financial management for contractors
- Business development and tendering
- Construction technology and innovation
- Environmental compliance
- Leadership and governance for construction firms
Trainings are offered in short course formats ranging from one day to two weeks. Some programs lead to recognised certifications. Trainings are offered at preferential rates for UNABSEC members.
UNABSEC also collaborates with Makerere University, Kyambogo University and the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE) on industry-relevant curriculum development.
